This initiative was taken following the desire of the devotee to protect the buildings of the temple from noise.

"We installed cell phone signal jammers with the help of the private sector and blocked the signal from all service providers in the temple to prevent believers from using their cell phones," he said, adding that the operation has been successful so far .

"The new initiatives make believers feel calm and at peace of mind," he added, adding that the vast majority of devotees were satisfied with the new decision.

Although the managers of Sri Kshetra Dharmastala did not introduce mobile signal interference in the shrine, their security staff wanted to make sure that there were no devotees with cellphones in the monastery. Temple manager Veeru Shetty said security guards have been directed to ask devotees to close their phones at the monastery.

Of course, this is not the only temple where hammers are used. In Madura, according to a temple official, the jammers were installed in the Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple to prevent phone calls.

Jammers can also be applied to other places such as theaters, factories, and so on. As long as the rational application of whining, it will give us benefits.
